§ 28-71. Damaging or defacing property.

  • (a)

    Any person who injures any animal, who damages or destroys any goods, wares or merchandise, or other property of another or any public property if the property or animal has a value of $1,000.00 or less, within the limits of the town shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor.

    (b)

    Any person who damages, defaces or destroys any fencing, fences, trees, shrubbery or buildings on the land of another or belonging to any other person within the limits of the town shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor.
