§ 30-1. Definitions.

The following words, terms and phrases, when used in this chapter, shall have the meanings ascribed to them in this section, except where the context clearly indicates a different meaning:

Bulk containers (dumpster) means a metal container of not less than two cubic yards, or larger than eight cubic yards adaptable for the town's automatic equipment. The container is to be of tight construction and shall be placed at a location easily accessible by the truck-handling equipment.

Garbage means organic waste matter, both animal and vegetable, being comprised chiefly of food waste.

Refuse means waste material other than garbage.
