§ 30-15. Collection of delinquent sanitation fees.

Upon the failure of any owner of improved property to pay the mandatory monthly sanitation fee, said unpaid amount shall constitute a lien upon the real estate and shall be collectable in the same manner as municipal taxes. The town shall henceforth be entitled to collect these delinquent fees in any reasonable manner, including, but not limited to, garnishing the federal and/or state tax refund of the owner of the subject improved property.
